Muddy Pearl is an independent publisher based in Edinburgh, a member of the Publishing Scotland community. We publish high quality general market gift books, books on family and relationships, fiction, and Christian spirituality, theology and faith. We love discovering new writers and working with them to make their book the best it can possibly be. We may be small, but we have a growing reputation in editorial, design and production.
We love bookshops and working with you to connect readers and authors in creative ways. Before the pandemic we regularly held launches in bookshop – Blackwells and Foyles, Faith Mission and GLO – and are looking forward to the day we can do that again. Also it is worth saying we do try to keep that playing field level. Although we do sell direct, we don’t discount on our website except in very special circumstances. We don’t deal direct with Amazon, nor do we enable preferential discounts to online retailers.
